We have chosen to grow Veganically – meaning we do not use manures, blood meal, bone meal or any other animal based input on your food. We use only plant based fertilizers, avoiding the hormones, antibiotics, heavy metals & other undesirables that can sneak into your body through the back door of growing practices.
Green Dirt Farm is in the midst of a semi-arid desert. Lillooet’s hot and dry weather turns non-irrigated land into dusty brown, but our fields are transformed into an oasis of fresh greens, kept cool with the clear water tumbling down from the steep Coastal Mountain just behind our farm.
